In my view, the highlights this year were IoT for precision agriculture (the connected field), security (intelligence), smart-cities and logistics (intelligent tracking). The race has started for traditional players and start-ups in the search for diversification of services focused on connectivity of things. In this context, backhaul connectivity is key, as several areas in Brazil don’t have any internet coverage, and new satellite technologies are therefore of utmost importance.”
